With the release of macOS Big Sur 11, Microsoft 365 for Mac and Office 2019 for Mac supports macOS Big Sur, 11, 10.15 Catalina, and 10.14 Mojave. Note:.As new major versions of macOS are made generally available, Microsoft will remove support for the oldest version and support the newest and previous two versions of macOS. To use Word v.X, Excel v.X, PowerPoint v.X, Entourage v.X, or the entire Office v.X package in Mac OS X, your computer must meet the following requirements: Mac OS X compatible system with a PowerPC G3 processor or better.

  • Office 2019 for Mac, which is available as a one-time purchase from a retail store or through a volume licensing agreement. This version receives security and quality updates, as needed.
